The Puna'auia Cultural and Conference Center in Tahiti is proposed as a venue that celebrates the culture, arts and crafts, and natural environment of Polynesia, set in the biodiverse landscape of the largest island in the archipelago.

Grimshaw's design, submitted to a public competition, draws on the immediate context of the center and the topography of the land. On the lower part of the site is the conference space ― a multi-purpose room and two conference rooms, while on the upper part, overlooking the ocean, are the theatres, consisting of three rooms.
