You Say You Want A Revolution?
Records and Rebels 1966-1970
V&A Museum, Londres, GB
A major immersive exhibition that explored the impact of the late 1960s through music, fashion, film, design and political activism.
This exhibition was a highly immersive, object-rich exhibition and one of the V&A’s blockbuster exhibitions. The exhibition is now touring to other museums around the world/
The proposed design took visitors on an experiential journey to the late 1960s and explores political activism, music, fashion and design. The exhibition includes film projections and audio-visual installations mixed with objects from the sixties era creating scenographic environments that allow a journey into the past from London’s Carnaby Street to Woodstock. Throughout the visit, visitors are equipped with bluetooth audio headsets where various landscapes and soundtracks contribute to the immersion in the period. As the audience moves between the spaces, the sound played is triggered automatically upon entering each new space.
"You Say You Want A Revolution is, in the parlance of the era, quite a trip. “The Guardian”
