With the creation of Theatre Projects France and a long-standing conversation with BIG, Sébastien was able to involve TP in this prestigious Parisian project of rehabilitation of the former Banque de France building. The acoustic design was creative, with the acoustic qualities evolving as we progressed through the building and got closer to the luxury products.
We assisted the BIG team on the design aspects of the glass boxes and their sound diffusion characteristics or on the dome where a sound focusing phenomenon was clearly perceptible in the central atrium.
We also provided building acoustics and provided advice on noise and vibration control of the building's mechanical equipment.
