Cité de l’Innovation

Paris, France

The Cité de l'Innovation Sorbonne Université embodies Sorbonne Université's desire to offer a common home to all the players in its innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

In order to streamline pathways and exchanges, and facilitate partnerships with its ecosystem, it will be the one-stop shop for all the talents in its community (researchers, students, staff, or alumni) as well as from outside (communities and public institutions, competitiveness clusters, companies, start-ups, associations, civil society or citizen initiatives, etc.).

The Cité de l'Innovation Sorbonne Université will organize, on 6 levels, two large sets of premises, work surfaces for the hosted entities (offices and laboratories), and spaces dedicated to welcoming the public and specialized or society-oriented events.

A place for dissemination and meetings, the Sorbonne University Innovation City will position itself at the interface between public research and society in the broadest sense. An accelerator of knowledge sharing in all fields (science, humanities, health, economy, including social and solidarity), it will disseminate the values of Sorbonne University: promoting open science, for a more sustainable world. A showcase of inventiveness, it will make visible the successes of the institution in the field of research promotion.
