David Théry
Acoustician
David Théry is a researcher in virtual acoustics providing auralisations for architectural spaces, namely the auditory equivalent of 3D visualisation. The use of auralisation and virtual and augmented technologies has been shown to enhance the collaboration aspects in architectural projects, allowing more fluid remote work as well as cost effective advantages. The next wave lies in the adoption of these technologies, by increasing your digital skills around Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (ARVR).
David has been working with prestigious institutions including Paris-Saclay University, Sorbonne University, IRCAM, and worked with Seb on auralisation projects with Theatre Projects.
David collaborates with Studio Jouan on projects requiring auralisation or room acoustic testing through his own practice called Opera Sound and Space (OSS | OPERA SOUND & SPACE (operasoundspace.com))
