Alexander Diaz is an acoustician and architect working with Studio Jouan since 2022 on performing art projects requiring acoustic modelling.

He has worked in Berlin, Aachen, Amsterdam and Madrid and has over 18 years' experience working with the most famous architects in Spain.

After running the Arup Acoustics office in Madrid between 2015 and 2022, Alexander is also a professor of acoustics at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (University of Madrid’s Architecture Department).

His expertise lies in the acoustic modelling of performing arts spaces and he has worked with Sebastien on projects in Bahrain and France.

In 2019, his work on the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona was the subject of an article in Spanish newspaper El Pais.
